Specification
The beach huts are manufactured using glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) which carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. The general construction of the building is 2.7kg (per 2M) of CSM saturated with fire-retardant coating. The fire rating of the building externally complies with a class 2 fire rating and the interior complies with a class 1/10, BS476 part 7 1997. The door carries a 10-year warranty subject to exclusions (door furniture 5 years).

The life expectancy of the door if maintained is expected to exceed 35 years. All locks are Yale standard with kite-marked cylinders and PAS certified locks and have a 10-year lock warranty. The locks are also guaranteed against break-ins. The windows are opaque polycarbonate, Macrolon which is fire-retardant and can withstand high impact as well as severe temperature change. The floor is made up of 2 x 18mm OSB floor boards thus achieving 36mm in thickness and is left for the occupants to cover as they wish.
