Teignbridge District Council granted outline planning permission (Ref.16/00317/OUT) for construction of a new detached dwelling - approval sought for access, layout and scale on 26th August 2016. Condition 5 of the planning approval was also discharged under application ref. 16/00317/COND1 on 19th October 2018.

There is a S106 agreement accompanying the above consent requiring a payment of £804 (index linked) as a Habitat Mitigation Contribution. The development will also be liable for CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) charges - exemptions of which can apply for self-builders.
