Planning:
Planning permission was granted on 25 March 2013 under planning reference 12/04880/ful for a detached one bedroom bungalow although this has long since lapsed.

Location:
The traditional crofting township of Tarskavaig is situated on the popular Sleat Peninsula, known as the garden of Skye due to its abundance of natural woodland which is absent in many other areas of the island. Not only is the Sleat area popular because of its stunning scenery but is also an attractive location due to its proximity to the Skye Bridge and links to the mainland via the Armadale to Mallaig ferry.
Tarskavaig is situated on a loop road accessed from the main A851 Broadford to Armadale road and is a most picturesque and quiet location. Although there are no facilities in the township itself, there is a primary school, shop and filling station/post office approximately 6 miles away. There are also a number of craft outlets and galleries scattered throughout the area as well as a number of hotels offering wonderful food. Further facilities are available in Broadford approximately 20 miles away.

Viewings: Strictly by appointment through this agency.

Directions: From the main A851 Broadford to Armadale road take the turning signposted Tarskavaig (there are two and as it is a loop raid you can take either). You will come to a turning on the loch side of the road signposted Taskavaig (there is also a sign for ‘Blue Shed’). Follow this road to the T junction and turn left. The croft will be on your left after approximately 150 metres.
