Farm buildings

The old stone range was formerly a cow shed which has been converted into an office and store room. The Office area has a kitchenette with sink and drainer, cupboards, work surfaces and ceiling spotlights. A toilet room also has a corner sink with mixer tap, chrome towel radiator, spotlights and a window overlooking the courtyard. A transition to a dwelling (subject to the necessary planning consents) would provide secondary accommodation alongside the farmhouse.

The land

The acreage extends to approximately 54.5 acres of land in good heart sloping gently from approximately 220 meters above sea level at the top of the drive to 170 meters below the yard. There is a lovely woodland area, with about 50 acres of grassland fenced into good sized paddocks with piped water supply to most fields. In most instances the fields are easily accessed from the driveway.
There is a feeder pond, plus a larger pond - which at 1.25 acres and with a small island appears more like a lake. It is magical to stand alongside and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature with no noise pollution at all.

Note: There is a right-of-way by means of a footpath that crosses the fields North–South to Hermon, halfway between the start of the driveway and the house. It is rarely used and the house is a good distance away from the path.
