Description

Hawkesbury Home Farm is a particularly attractive Cotswolds stone farmhouse having benefitted from complete restoration in 2010, advancing the entire property sensitively in to the 21st century, its origins being from the early 1800's.

Previously the principal house of the "Home Farm" of the historically much larger Hawkesbury Estate, the current owner undertook an extensive and thorough refurbishment to an exacting standard with the addition of a substantial extension during the process. The owners have continued to improve and maintain the house and overall property to the highest standard.

During the refurbishment, numerous alterations have been implemented to create a fabulous family home with substantial enhancements to the layout and flow of the living accommodation, including the creation of a fabulous cinema style room and/or games room. Practical improvements include an attached 2-car carport and an engineer-designed utilities plant room are essential improvements to compliment the house and modern day living.

The property is situated in a spectacular elevated position with outstanding views across its beautiful gardens and grounds with the pretty undulating Cotswold countryside as the backdrop, the house is positioned on the edge of the village and accessed via a lane from the village road.

Approached from the lane via wrought-iron entrance gates, between stone piers, the drive leads to the front of the house and a parking area, beyond which are the cottage and barn.
