What do you love most about your home? Having completely renovated the flat top to bottom (including switching location of the bathroom and kitchen) it has a lovely flow and it very homely. The high ceilings, view of the park, sunlight through the main bedroom and kitchen in the morning make it feel spacious yet cosy.

Why are you moving? We really don't want to leave as we love this exact spot, but with two kids now we need more space.

What do you love about the area? The flat is right in the heart of the community; for our kids we have the park literally over the road which is a godsend, then Church Street and its bustling atmosphere is on your doorstep, making you feel like a proper Stokey resident. Regular haunts are The Good Egg (their babka is a must), The Yellow Warbler (coffee), Bake Street (cake), Brunswick East (cake), The Three Lions (roasts), the list goes on! Stoke Newington High Street is also criminally underrated with regards to food/drink/shops.

To say you're spoilt for green areas is an understatement; aside from the Common over the road you are equidistant from Clissold Park and Hackney Downs (plenty of tennis courts in both) with London Fields, Victoria Park, Finsbury Park, Walthamstow Wetlands and Springfield Park only slightly further away. Summers are sorted. There is even an annual film night on the Common (which you can watch from the living room window!)

Transport is exceptional; buses take you everywhere (most of which you can get on really close to the flat), Rectory Road/Stoke Newington Stations are five mins walks away, taking you to central London in 30 mins, the 73 terminates right by the flat, which has saved us loads in taxi fares over the years!
