The local train station which is 7 minutes walk takes 23 minutes to Victoria whilst another great place is Thornton Heath library, which is 3 minutes from our home. Nearby shops are really handy as they open early and close late. The bus stops by the library makes it easy to get to Croydon or towards Brixton via Streatham.

The local high street has many shops, whilst nearby Norbury is within 20 minutes walk and has many eating places and a wide range of shops. Crystal Palace is remarkably near, with the 450 bus from the library.

There are plenty of supermarkets nearby with two Lidl’s, two large Sainsbury’s and a Tesco.

If you need to travel to Gatwick then East Croydon station is two stops from Thornton Heath Station or a 20 minute bus trip on the 198 which stops by the library.

Thornton Heath is a buzzing place, but also quiet and residential. It’s local to so many great eating and shopping places. We have really enjoyed our time living here".
