House For Sale £390,000
Stumblewood Close, Uckfield TN22

Description
View Homes are delighted to bring to the market this beautifully presented Semi-Detached Family Home in the highly desirable Fernley Park, Ridgewood.

Situated in a quiet close, this three-bedroom family home is accessed via paving through the pretty front garden to a stepped doorway with canopy. The entrance hall enjoys natural light from the partially glazed front door and has the benefit of an under stairs storage cupboard. The modern downstairs cloakroom is accessed directly from the hall, as are both the kitchen/diner and the living room.

The bright kitchen/diner affords plenty of room for family dining or entertaining, with the stylish u-shaped kitchen area maximising storage and allowing space for a large freestanding fridge/freezer. External double doors lead from the dining area out to a large patio, and internal double doors open to the living room, giving a through length in excess of 26'.

Stairs lead up from the hallway to a landing area with an airing cupboard (with Megaflo cylinder) and a loft hatch entered via a pull-down ladder. The loft is considered suitable for extension, subject to necessary consents. Off the landing there are three bedrooms, two doubles and a good-size single. The master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with double shower cubicle. In addition, there is a modern family bathroom.

Externally to the rear the garden is a good size, with a walled, paved patio area for summer barbeques and a raised lawn area with space for garden games.

The brick built, pitched roof garage is accessed both from the back garden and via the up and over door to the front. In addition, there is off-street parking for two vehicles to the front.

Built to a high standard in 2012 by Linden Homes, Fernley Park is in the Ridgewood area of Uckfield. With both the countryside of the Sussex Weald to enjoy and the excellent amenities and transport links of nearby Uckfield, Fernley Park is perfectly located. Stand-out features of the wider area include easy access to the nearby Ashdown Forest (home to Winnie the Pooh), the Picture House historic three-screen cinema in Uckfield and a direct railway service to London.

Owners Notes

"We absolutely love the house and the only reason for moving is our ever-growing family. The house has been absolutely amazing to grow in with the open living space if you want it but the lounge can be shut off for the ever popular movie night... The large patio comes into its own in the summer and we spend lots of time dining outside and leaving the doors open most days, however in the winter the separate lawn means the lawn stays mud free and so does the house :). The oversize garage and driveway are a godsend for bikes, cars and tools etc meaning there is no need for a shed and the option to knock through from the kitchen to make a utility room was on the plan if we stayed. Despite all this there are two things we will miss the most, the shower in the en-suite which is the best going (trust me on this). Lastly but only because they will be the hardest to leave behind is our neighbours, to say they are great neighbours would be doing them all a dis-justice, in my 10 years on the development they have become great friends. Whoever
purchases this home will be very happy but for neighbours that come with it they will be blessed.
