About Northolt

Northolt is a town in north west London and within the London Borough of Ealing. Essentially a suburban development, a feature is the Grand Union Canal, as is the A40(M) Western Avenue into Central London. Suburban development began in the 1920s. Most of the housing north of the Western Avenue was built in the 1920s /1930s, and is in the private housing sector.
