2 bed Flat For Sale £425,000
New River Avenue, Hornsey, London N8

Description
This clean-lined, cleverly designed two-bedroom flat in a contemporary block in Hornsey offers space, light and a whole host of onsite perks, including a 24-hour concierge, gym, underground parking and a vast communal roof terrace.

Brickworks Says

In a Mondrian-esque block built on the site of a Victorian waterworks—complete with restored pump house, c.1901—this two-bedroom flat in New River Village has a sunny aspect and soaring views of Ally Pally from its communal roof deck.

Situated astride the parkland banks of a 17th century waterway, the village was designed by award-winning architects Stockwool in 2010. Outside is a striking, cantilevered structure. Inside is a bright and airy flat with a thoughtful layout, calming palette and a quiet, contemplative feel. The open-plan kitchen/dining/living room looks out on the communal garden below. The main bedroom has its own shower room and built-in wardrobe, leaving a separate bathroom and spare room perfect for guests, a roommate or an ever-popular home office. Even more convenient, the flat has access to a full gym, round-the-clock concierge and its own parking space.

Tucked behind the lively High Street, the flat is a short stroll to Hornsey station. A walk along the New River path takes you directly to the Alexandra Park and Palace. Priory Park’s walking distance, too. The neighbourhood is buzzy and friendly, with classic pubs, indie shops and pop-up restaurants rubbing shoulders all along the road to Crouch End and Muswell Hill.

The Owners Say

We’ve enjoyed the light and space in the flat for nearly seven years now. We will miss being close to so much green space. Walking along the river to Ally Pally park, through the woods and up to the palace is a favourite route, watching for birds at dawn and bats at dusk.

Queenswood, Highgate Wood and Parkland Walk are other favourite spots for a wander. The roof terrace is perfect for hosting dinner parties and soaking up the sunshine in summer. We often have the whole space to ourselves! The view of the fireworks in November is also spectacular.

We’re lucky to have a great concierge in the building who is always happy to help and is around 24/7 to receive parcels.
