Application reference W/38125 dated 14th August 2019 was refused by notice dated 20th November 2019. An appeal reference app/M6825/A/20/3249883 was granted 11th December 2020. Copies of the planning consents and appeal decisions are available from the estate agents or via the Carmarthenshire County Council website under planning reference W/38125 along with layout plans. Brief details of the outline planning consent consists of 36 dwelling of 2,3 and 4 bedroom houses and bungalows. A contribution of £24,000 for improvement of play equipment in the existing park in the village and the development is to include an informal area of open space, local area of play (lap). A lap is a low maintenance area, usually a small area of grass land with a bench and bin. 30% of the allocation is for affordable housing (11 units), contribution to education is £22,000 and the payment of £37,625 to facilitiate a speed reductions scheme along the main road through the village.
