A word from the owner...

"73 Wellington Road has a great energy and is filled with light all through the day - it's been a wonderful home to live and work in. Having a separate sitting room, study and big kitchen/dining room has been a godsend this year. We've had great fun working on our garden, and love our summer evening meals with the doors opening on to the roses. We love our weekend rambles on the peaceful Wanstead Flats followed by a roast at the Holly Tree pub, and taking a picnic up to the beautiful Wanstead Park. Since we moved in the local businesses in the Railway Arches and in Forest Gate have thrived - there is delicious local craft beer (Pretty Decent), incredible wine (Burgess and Hall), lovingly baked bread (Wild Goose) and a choice of delicious pizza (Giovanna's & Kotch!) The community has really centred around these places over the past year. We're sure the next owners will love it as much as we do - if we didn't have to relocate to Scotland for work, we'd be here for years!"
