Just a little further are the tranquil blue waters of Hollow Ponds (made famous by local boy Damon Albarn), where you can hire a row boat and explore in the company of friendly ducks, be sure to buy some bird food from the kiosk. Another famous son lends his name to the nearby Sir Alfred Hitchock Hotel, the bar here is the perfect place to watch the sun go down over the forest.

A word from the owner...

"My time living at Chessington Mansions over the last five years have been a joy. With good sized windows on all sides, the flat gets a huge amount of natural light throughout the day. It's located at the back of the building on the top floor, facing a quiet residential culdasac, with lots of greenery and no traffic. In the distance you get a great view of central London. The flat has some lovely features, like a working fireplace and original hardwood floors. The sense of community in the building is also really incredible - we have a whatsapp group to keep in touch and support each other. It's a short walk to the Hollow Ponds and Epping Forest on one side and the high street on the other that has loads of lovely restaurants, bakeries and pubs. I have a lot of love for this place, you'll be really happy here!"
