It's hard to choose just one favourite room as we like them all but the kitchen / dining / living area is certainly a popular choice for ourselves and our guests. We also like to spend time in the annexe in the garden. It's surrounded by decking and we use it as a gym, home office and entertaining area as it has a little kitchenette. We recently celebrated my wife's birthday out there as we lit the log fire to keep us warm and I let off fireworks. It was brilliant.
We've made many enhancements during our time here, including rewiring and new central heating. We also rearranged the original space downstairs to create a new kitchen / dining / living area and two reception rooms which has been fabulous. Bi-fold doors open to the patio which makes a lovely open space in the summer and we tend to spend most of our time in here as it's perfect for day-to-day life and entertaining. I can easily chat to our guests as they relax in the comfortable seating area whilst i'm working in the kitchen.
