We bought the house fourteen years ago and as well as the space that the property offered both inside and out, it was the location that was one of the biggest selling points. The road itself is very quiet and only really used by the people that live here. It's a very pleasant downhill walk to Woodford station and very close to a host of excellent schools, both state and private. We've also been able to enjoy an easy drive to places such as High Beech, Chigwell, Loughton and Buckhurst Hill so all the best shops, restaurants and pubs in the West Essex area are close at hand, and we benefit from excellent motorway links so it's ideal if you need to travel further afield. For us the location really couldn't have been more ideal.

This has been a wonderful family home for the past fourteen years and it's going to be a real wrench to leave. We'll miss the convenience of being so close to central London – it's only eight stops into Liverpool Street – and we have some lovely wide-open green spaces close by so the walks in the area are lovely, with plenty of places to stop for a coffee or a light bite. However, most of all we'll miss the house itself and the privacy, peace and quiet of this lovely road.
