We’ve loved living here. It’s such a sunny, bright, airy space. The original sash windows, floorboards, high ceilings and quirky period features completely wowed us when we first saw this flat. The flat adapts to each season: In the summer, it is the perfect oasis with the windows open and the sound of the birds in the back bedrooms; in the winter, we close the shutters and it becomes a lovely, cosy private space. Turning the spare bedroom into a gym-office-cinema room has been a lifesaver in the last year.

After living in the Holloway area before this flat, we could not quite believe a street like Whitehall Park existed: It is quiet and beautiful with a real community feel, yet the Northern Line and the hustle and bustle of Archway are a short walk away. Going up the hill, there is Waterlow Park (the best park in London, in our opinion!) and Highgate village. A little further lies Crouch End with its beautiful streets, independent shops, cafes and Waitrose.
