Clarendon Road, London E11

Description
An utterly statuesque, impeccably grand five bedroom double fronted Victorian detached. The original architecture has been lovingly preserved and expertly developed, with a dramatic extension to the rear. You have three bathrooms, large private garden and cellar.

Your location is every bit as enviable, set back from the secluded end of a peaceful, residential tree-lined street, you're nonetheless just a third of a mile on foot from the superb transport links of Leytonstone Central Line station, with all the High Road's amenities just a little way beyond.

If you lived here...

You'll be exploring a shade under 3000 square feet of living space, in what can only be described, set apart from the neighbours and with those striking twin turreted bays, as an urban mansion. Head up your lengthy, vintage tiled front path, beneath that ornate archway and through your stained glass front door to arrive in your extra wide hallway. You have twin reception rooms, over 200 square foot apiece, either side. We'll return to those but you'll want to proceed directly to the expertly developed kitchen/diner, and pick your jaw up off the floor.

Totalling a colossal 600 square feet, this is beautifully accomplished space, a single huge skylight runs overhead for the entire breadth, while twin sets of floor to ceiling sliding glazed doors make up the rear wall for natural light flooding in from all angles. Dove grey engineered hardwood runs underfoot and the entire right hand wall is exposed brick. Opposite the kitchen area is artfully composed of a generous suite of bespoke glossy fitted cabinets, with granite countertops, all elegantly segmented by an indispensable island unit.

Take your pick of exits to the garden, which opens with a large deck every bit as broad as your impressive frontage and gives way to an expanse of zero maintainance Trulawn and a backdrop of thriving greenery and mature foliage. Back inside and your ground floor's completed by a utility room, spare WC and of course those dual reception rooms, each one immaculately appointed with lovingly restored vintage timber flooring underfoot, ornate original cornicing overhead and classic hearths.

Upstairs, and you have a pair of vast double bedrooms, mirroring the twin receptions downstairs; both as immaculate and spacious as you'll by now expect, and with the master featuring a sparkling en suite shower room. Bedroom three comes in at 130 square feet and with its own en suite would count as a master in less distinguished company. Your family bathroom, meanwhile, is a generous 140 square feet, with pride of place taken by a pristine freestanding tub. Finally, the top floor offers another pair of double bedrooms, perfectly topping off this luxurious property.

Outside, and despite your peaceful location, Leytonstone Central Line station is just over five minutes' walk and will get you directly to Liverpool Street in eighteen minutes, putting the City within a half hour door to door. Heading to the West End Tottenham Court Road is just twenty seven minutes direct, or if you fancy some retail therapy the gargantuan shopping and leisure mecca of Westfield Stratford City is just two stops and five minutes away. A word from owner...

"We have loved our time at 37 Clarendon Road and it is somewhere we will always have fond memories of, having brought our children up here. Leytonstone is an area we have always enjoyed living in and over time the area has changed considerably, with an influx of independent shops, cafes and restaurants offering a wide variety of goods and food types. Bread & Oregano (on Hainault Road) and Mora (on Leytonstone High Road) are two particular favourites. Leytonstone is excellently placed for both getting into central London (30 mins on the Central Line) and getting out of London. There are lots of local green areas, such as Hollow Ponds and Epping Forest."
