Comments from the Owner:

What do you love most about your home?
We were first attracted to Glenelg Road for its location - being within walking distance of Brixton, Clapham, Herne Hill and Abbeville Road has meant virtually anything we might need is on our doorstep - as well as giving us easy access to the Victoria and Northern lines, and Overground. It's also a really quiet residential street with an active online community. When we moved in we spent some time opening up and modernising the property, and we love the open-plan living space that is great for entertaining. The garden - which is not overlooked - is a real sun-trap, which we have made the most of during lockdown. And it's been great to have a second bedroom which has doubled up as a spare room, dressing room and yoga studio!

Why are you moving?
We've loved our time here and are staying local - moving to just the other side of Brockwell Park - as we need more space to hopefully grow our family.

What do you love about the area?
There is an amazing array of local food and drink options: Aries Bakehouse for fresh sourdough; Stir, Blank, F Mondays or 7Oz for great coffee; any cuisine you fancy from Pop Brixton or Brixton Market; King & Co. For a cosy Sunday pint or local craft beer from Brixton and Canopy breweries; strolling through Herne Hill and Venn Street markets at the weekend. Brockwell Park has got to be one of the best parks in London - perfect for a dog-walk or daily exercise - and Clapham Common is a great alternative.
