Description
A well presented and much improved family home, with secure gated parking and garage located in a quiet no-through road.

Why buy this home?

Being set back from a green not only provides nice views to the front of the house, but it also allows more light to enter the home.

At the front of the house is the separate kitchen. It has had an additional worktop and cupboards installed to maximise space. There is space for five under-counter appliances meaning you don't have to choose between a tumble dryer or dishwasher. There is also an electric double oven and gas hob. The tiled floor throughout the downstairs benefits from underfloor heating and a wood burner has been installed in the lounge to create a cosy feeling in the colder months.

On the first floor and three bedrooms and a bathroom. The second bedroom is a very comfortable size as it stetches the entire width of the house. The current owners show this off perfectly as their oldest child uses this as their own private living space as well. The third bedroom is a double and the fourth a single meaning it could be used as a home office. A family bathroom serves these bedrooms and is mostly tiled with an overhead shower.

The top floor is one of the key selling points of this home. A spacious bedroom with built-in wardrobes means you can treat yourself to an extra-large bed like the current owners have. There is a private bathroom which has both a spa bath and large shower enclosure with retro glass tiles.

The garden is south-facing and low maintenance so is ideal for sun worshipers. A rear gate leads to the single garage which has light and power as well as an electric roller door. The garage area is enclosed with gates for added security.

More about the location...

The line, which closed in 1963, has been converted to a red way for cyclists and pedestrians. Along the route, you will pass over an aqueduct on the canal and through old bridges and platforms from the old railway as well as boat moorings and fishing spots. On this walk you will be able to see the distinctive landmark; the Bradwell windmill.

There are three play parks, two shops, a Community Centre and local pub called Halley's Comet. There are also two schools; Pepper Hill and Stanton School. Secondary Schooling is provided by Stantonbury International School.
