Description
An utterly luxurious, beautifully developed four bedroom Edwardian mid-terrace expertly laid out over three floors. Brimming with original vintage features and sumptuous new additions such as a garden studio, bright and spacious kitchen/diner and even a sauna, this is a home full of imagination.

Smartly finished, powered and insulated, your seventy square foot garden studio is ideal for all manner of uses, from simple summer house to home working space or guest bedroom. You have handy storage off to one side and your very own sauna on the other a rare luxury indeed.

If you lived here

You'll be discovering artful designer touches and delightful period features around every corner. Behind that handsome brick frontage with its twin box bay windows you have more than 1600 square feet of living space, every inch finished to a high standard. Rich, dark, artfully distressed original timber floorboards run underfoot from the wide hallway into your twenty six foot long through lounge.

A masterpiece of vintage design as well as the perfect hosting space, in here you have a pair of striking statement chimney breasts, home to an original hearth and mantel, immaculately tiled in the style of the period, and an exposed brick hearth respectively. To the front you have that bright box bay, while to the rear twin tower radiators frame a pair of French doors leading out to your lengthy rear garden, where a generous, BBQ-perfect deck gives way to thriving foliage and, of course, that wonderfully flexible studio and private sauna.

Back inside, and your 200 square foot kitchen/diner is another exquisitely arranged space, with vintage timber beams and skylights overhead. Together with the large rack of folding glazed doors and patio doors to the rear, the dual aspect space is flooded with natural light and complete with everything from sleek white fitted cabinets to a wine rack, Aga oven and timber-topped breakfast bar and chef's island.

Upstairs, your master bedroom sits to the front, 150 square foot with more vintage floorboards and an original hearth. To the rear bedroom two's another substantial double with one entire wall of gorgeous exposed brick. Bedroom three's a generous single, while your family bathroom is suitably striking enjoying a vintage sink and walk-in rainfall shower. Finally your penthouse master bedroom is jaw-dropping even by the high standards set so far; coming in at over 220 square feet, with twin skylights at one end and a Juliet balcony with striking views at the other, you also have a sparkling en suite shower room.

Despite your peaceful, leafy location, Highams Park station is less than five minutes' walk. From here you can get directly to Liverpool Street in just twenty three minutes, alternatively Walthamstow Central is just two stops and five minutes away for the Victoria line. Closer to home, Highams Park itself is a half mile on foot, popular with joggers and families and home to playgrounds, cafes and of course Highams Park lake, created in the late 1800s by landscape gardener Humphrey Repton by damming the River Ching. More recently, it was made famous by Blue Peter.

A word from the owner....

"We have loved living in Highams Park, the community is second to none. There are regular street markets and festivals in the nearby park and there is a good community feel. There are a good selection of local shops and restaurants and an excellent choice of schools. It's only a 20-minute commute into London Liverpool Street and it's situated a couple of minutes away from the station, but it's also in close proximity to the forest and lake for great walks and jogs, so you've got the best of both worlds. We've put a lot of love into the house adding high quality features, such as limescale filters, sauna and summer house at the end of the garden. We'll miss living there and our lovely neighbours very much and we hope you will enjoy your time there as much as we did."
