However, at the same time we have absolutely everything we could possibly want or need just a stone's throw away. For us as a family it ticked all the boxes."

"The house was beautifully designed and built, but over time we've made some significant changes to the property that have enhanced it no end. Inside we created a much large opening between the kitchen and the dining room to create a lovely big family space, we also upgraded the kitchen and added bi-folding doors that open straight out onto the garden. Favourite room: "If I had to pick a favourite room it would probably be our lovely big kitchen/diner. It's a really sociable part of the house; we can all be together without feeling on top of one another, and when the bi-fold doors are pushed back we can create a lovely feeling of connection between inside and out."

Favourite aspect of the grounds or surrounding area: "For anyone wanting to live in a town i'd say that the location of this house is absolutely perfect. We enjoy total and utter peace and privacy, a huge amount of space both inside and out, and yet we're just moments from a fantastic array of shops and restaurants, there are some great schools nearby and the local transport links are superb. What more could you want?"

Memorable event (if not another favourite room or unique feature): "The annex has been a terrific addition to the property as my mum has been able to live very comfortably and enjoy total privacy, but with the peace of mind of knowing that we're just meters away."

What they'll miss most / why they are leaving: "This house comes alive when it's filled with family and friends and that's what I think i'll miss most when we leave, " says the owner. "We've had some wonderful times here including big family Christmases, summer BBQs and sunny days spent lazing around the pool… We'll definitely take some wonderful memories with us when we move."
