Getting Around:
The name 'York Place' adorns every tram that leaves Edinburgh Airport - as it is the destination at the end of Edinburgh's newest, cleanest and most efficient public transport system. Arriving by train to Waverley Station is so simple as it is literally 5 minutes away. It is also just around the corner from the bus station serving all parts of the UK. Uber and numerous taxi companies serve the centre of the city although you will find everything within reasonable walking distance of York Place. Hard to imagine, but if you're looking for even more - Glasgow is 50 minutes away by train from Edinburgh and has an excellent service making a day trip to Scotland's largest city effortless - by making Edinburgh your base.
