Having lived here for over 20 years, we've never failed to tire of the spectacular views which overlook the English Channel – as one of the busiest shipping routes in the world, it's always fascinating watching a host of ships and sea liners sail across the Channel.

One of the property's premier attractions is the fact the house has its own access down to the beach. Having our own private access down to one of the best beaches on the Isle of Wight is truly special, and something we'll miss a lot for sure. For dog walkers, sunbathers or those brave enough for a dip in the sea, you'll be hard pressed to find a more iconic location for your property – we've been very lucky indeed.

In terms of Bembridge itself, the village has won a host of awards, including winning ‘Countryfile Village of the Year 2019'. However, to call Bembridge a village is doing it a disservice – it's in fact one of the larger villages in the UK, with 4,000 residents.

Although Bembridge could be described as a ‘mini-town' in size, the village still maintains an intimate spirit due to its wealth of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
