The owner quote
We have loved living in this beautiful Georgian home. It has some fantastic history due to a young lady called Lilian Bland once living here (the first woman to design, build and fly her own aircraft). Because of this it’s rightly been recognised as a blue plaque grade II listed property.
Every room is large and spacious with fantastic high ceilings, a lot of the Georgian features have been retained which is amazing.
The addition of a large open plan kitchen diner in the basement has created a great entertaining space, something we have used many times from Kids parties to more grown up dinner parties.
There is also a wonderfully secluded and calming garden which is fortunate to get a great deal of sunshine throughout the day. And if more open grounds is your thing you literally have the beautiful Mote Park on your door step and a few minutes walk to the Bearsted Woodlands trust.
