“There were 3 main things that drew me to this flat 7 years ago – the large windows yet not feeling overlooked, Victoria Park at the end of the road and the ability to walk into the centre. Since then I have discovered so much more about the area. There are a number of lovely independent local pubs including the Star and Dove a stone throw from the flat along with a fitness and wellbeing studio Brave Move. There are an abundance of independent shops including bakeries and greengrocers within a short walk away. While a little bit further afield but still within walking distance there is North Street, Wells Road and Whapping Wharf. If you want to get out of the city you can easily access Ashton Court and Leighwoods along the river path or head the other way towards Bath where you can if you wish to walk all the way to Bath along the river with several lovely pubs on route to stop at. However, if you do not fancy walking back hop on the train at Bath or Keynsham to get back to Templemeads which is a 10 min walk away from the flat. There is a lovely sense of community within the area which is something I really love about the area along with-it offering city living but with easy access to vast outside space and countryside.
