Why you'll like it:
You cannot fail to be impressed by the scale and beauty of these Regency townhouses which wind around their central manicured gardens and down towards the sea. The houses of Brunswick are individual in their buttery colour, with ornate Grecian mouldings and Ionic pillars around the doors. You approach the house up wide stone steps, and through the grand black door. The communal entrance hall is inviting and grandiose; you can just imagine how exceptional these houses were when they were originally built in the 1820s. From here you climb the carpeted stairs to the top floor where this apartment has its own staircase with plenty of space for wall-hung bike storage.

The apartment door opens into wide entrance hall from which every room resides. This is a welcoming space with room for hanging coats and organising shoes, and it is immediately clear this apartment was renovated by those with an eye for colour and a respect for period interiors.

You can really appreciate the scale of the flat from here, and with the doors open, it is beautifully light due to the east-west orientation; where the light filters through. To the right is the living room, which follows the natural curve of the building. Two arched sash windows frame beautiful sea and garden views to the west, covering the promenade and the striking Regency architecture opposite. In the afternoon, the light is warm and pink, and the sunsets throughout the year are glorious. A room of this size allows separate areas for formal dining and large, comfortable sofas.

Next door the bedroom continues the curve around, and the window has the same beguiling vista and window seat. Each of the three bedrooms are double with ample space for double beds alongside freestanding pieces of furniture, and although bedroom three is lit only from above, you can stargaze as you drift off.

Moving to the easterly side of the apartment, the views are certainly iconic, taking in the tallest building on the coast: Sussex Heights, and the city's newest icon: The i360. The skies remain just as vast and there is plenty to peruse as you wash up, looking out through the kitchen window. This room has a modern country feel with Shaker style units in sage, topped with light wood effect surfaces to complement the floor. Although galley in style, the units run along the wall at both base and wall height, so they provide a great deal of storage, and the oven and gas hob have been integrated within them. The washing machine and fridge freezer are freestanding however, and the splashbacks are on trend in grey metro brick. These are also found in the bathroom which has a contemporary and polished finish with a double-ended bath with a rainfall shower above it.

The principal bedroom is another sizable room, making this the ideal apartment for professional sharers or families. Designer wallpaper offsets the white washed floorboards and wall panels, and large built-in wardrobes maximise the floor space. From here you can access the fire escape balcony which is really for safety purposes only but has room for potted plants to create a pretty backdrop to the room.

Agent's thoughts:
Beautifully presented and spacious, this apartment is immediately impressive, and the views are exemplary on both sides. It is a property which needs to be seen to be admired.
