Why you'll like it:
While this property is just minutes on foot from the fashionable Seven Dials District, Brighton Station and Brighton City Centre, it is peacefully tucked away from the main roads, so it is incredibly quiet for somewhere so central. Being elevated, both on the hill and within the building itself, only adds to the tranquillity, and when you are home, you have delightful views over the city's rooftops below vast open skies.

Externally the house is uniform with its neighbours with the classic architectural detailing of the era, and a few stone steps lead to your door. The communal ways are shared with just two others, and an internal flight of stairs takes you up to the main body of the apartment which adds to the feeling of space within.

With the loft conversion completed 4 years ago years ago, it is now a stylish home and feels more like a house than an apartment once you're inside. New, vintage style column radiators have been fitted throughout which adds to the period feel.

The kitchen sits to the rear and has been well-designed to include plenty of storage and includes an under counter fridge and freezer and a washing machine while the oven and electric hob have been integrated. From here, a door leads through to the bathroom which has 2 windows and metro brick tiling around the bath which has a shower over it.

Passing a very deep storage cupboard, steps lead up to the living room and bedroom one. The bedroom looks out over the neighbouring gardens to the rear and is a fine size double with space for a king size bed and includes a large wardrobe with hanging space a drawers, without compromising on floor space.

Spanning the front of the building, the living room is a beautiful space with a generous amount of glazing on its southerly wall bringing in natural light and some exceptional views of the city. This room has ash timber laminate flooring and ample space for relaxation and formal dining within the wide bay. From here you can look out over the rooftops of the city to the sea spanning from east to west across the landscape which sparkles at night as the city lights up.

Zesty lemon and grey steps lead up to the new loft room which is another double room, meaning this property would be ideal for professional sharers who would find the location ideal – but also for families with one or two children as there is space for two single beds. There is also extra storage space within the eaves and an en suite WC has been added so no need for night time visits to the bathroom downstairs.

Agent's thoughts:
Stylish, spacious and light, this property will appeal to many – and the location cannot be beaten for those looking to live the quintessential Brighton & Hove lifestyle.

Owner's secret
"I bought this property six years ago to do up and live in, but more recently I have let the property since moving in with my partner and have never had any gaps between tenants. I really enjoyed living here, it's quiet, bright, and right in the heart of the city, it has always felt homely. Night time and day time views are both great too and if you look one way out of the bay window you see the sea and if you look the other way you see the Downs. I made full use of the city night life and knew at the end of the night my walk home was always a 10 minute stroll from all the central venues. Brighton Station is a 2 minute walk away too, so the times I did go up to London for work or a night out, I loved that home was so close to public transport.
