"I bought the property 5 years ago when looking to move from a small one bed flat into somewhere with more space. I certainly found it here with two good sized double bedrooms and an eat in kitchen with direct access to a private back garden. My lounge is big enough to fit in two sofas and a desk which has enabled me to work from home when necessary in comfort. I love the way that my back garden catches the sun in the afternoons in the summer. The light floods into my lounge and front bedroom in the mornings- whilst I look out to my cherry blossom tree and shrubbery.
The nearby transport links are amazing as I am situated between Mitcham Eastfields and Streatham Common stations. Mitcham Eastfields station is a brisk 8 minutes walk away and from there I can be in Victoria in approximately 20 mins or London Bridge in under 30 minutes. Mitcham Eastfields is also on the Thameslink with connections going as far afield as St. Albans or Bedford. In the other direction, about a 15 minute walk or a short bus ride is Streatham common Station with equally good transport links to Victoria, London Bridge and Clapham Junction. I am also very close to local shops with Lidl and the Co-op about a 10 minute walk away, the big Tescos on Streatham High Road is also a short bus ride.
I love to live in a light, bright and fresh environment so I have regularly redecorated my flat and I had a new bathroom installed about 3 years ago.
I am close to retirement now so I am looking to move further out of London to be nearer family and friends- but I will make sure that I choose somewhere to live with great transport links back into London!"
