East Dulwich is a thoroughly lovely place around which to wander, while taking in the buzzy and relaxed vibe. Transport links are very convenient for commuters with the Southern mainline service connecting directly to the capital.

The area is popular with families with a superb choice of schools including Dulwich College, Alleyn's and jags.

Peckham Rye Park is approx. 0.7 miles from Ulverscroft Road and is an exciting neighbourhood with tons of fun things to offer including Peckham Levels; a unique creative hub occupying a multi-storey carpark with space for local enterprise and a host of places to drink and eat. One of our favourite spots is Frank’s Café for their excellent Campari cocktails, sharing plates and stunning views on a sunny evening. We also love Artusi, an effortlessly cool Italian restaurant on Bellenden Road and John The Unicorn for a cheeky cocktail.

The neighbourhood of Nunhead is also an enjoyable walk from the house. Mostly positioned around Nunhead Green, the area has a strong local and community feel with plenty of events throughout the year and you can grab good quality and locally sourced provisions from one of the many independent food shops, we particularly love Ayres Bakery which has been established since 1955, also Bambuni and ha Smith. There are also lots of lovely independent restaurants, you are spoilt for choice.
