Description
The land at Heighington extends to approximately 11.34 acres in all, south of the village between Newton Aycliffe and Darlington. The land comprises of three fields divided by Coatsay Moor Lane. There is also direct access from the A6072 to the east.
The land comprises of predominantly level grassland meadow and pasture, with the larger field suited to rough grazing. The soils are classified as Grade 3 under the maff Provisional Agricultural Land Classification. The land is bound by mature trees and hedges throughout, which add to the amenity, appeal and enclosed feel of the land.
