What do you love most about your home?

The flat is very sunny, with all its windows south facing. It gives a very bright and clear feeling, and the plants in the flat always thrived. The views stretch from the communal garden to far beyond, and this beautiful green view in the summer feels very relaxing.

It's also been comfortable to work from home as well, as you can barely hear the neighbours in the block. Another thing I love about this flat is the layout, with rooms well separated, lots of built-in storage: It's perfectly arranged so that it never looks messy and you can create a different atmosphere in each room.

Why are you moving?

I got a new very exciting job last summer in North London and it's unfortunately too far to travel there from Battersea.

What do you love about the area?
Battersea Park is only a 5 minute walk from the flat and I think it's the most beautiful park in London! I had daily breaks there during lockdown and never got tired of it: There are little hidden gardens, beautiful views along the Thames, lots of fun dogs running around...
Out of lockdown, I enjoy how Battersea offers such a diverse variety of restaurants, pubs, shopping and leisure. Close to the flat you have lots of sports facilities (like tennis or football at the park, yoga at Battersea Yoga Centre) and a variety of great (garden) pubs to have a drink at. You can also treat yourself with a film at the Archlight Cinema at the beautiful Power Station, and shop a new second hand furniture at the Oasis charity shop.
