Location
Norton St Philip is a very popular and pretty village. It lies just 7 or so miles from the centre of Bath and has a charming cricket ground, primary school, church, 2 good pubs (one being ‘The George’, claimed to be one of the oldest taverns in the country) and a useful Co-op convenience shop. Wonderful walks are available in the rolling countryside around the village, the house is on a bus route and the centre of Bath is only a quick drive away.
Directions
Leave Bath heading South on the A367 Wells Road and then B3110 Midford Road. Continue through Midford and then Hinton Charterhouse. Upon entering Norton St Philip, pass The George on your right and after a couple of hundred yards you will find a gap in the terrace of houses (again on your right) with the sign ‘Mamre’ on the stone wall. For viewings, park on the High Street and walk down this driveway where you will find the house on your left hand side.
