It's a great place to see in the New Year as you can see over 30 firework displays, and the mid-summer solstice gathering is legendary!
The Brookmill Pub at the bottom of St John's Vale and The Talbot Pub at the top of St John's Vale are both great locals, offering everything from quiz nights, poetry nights and open mic nights to baby yoga and sporting events screenings. Watch out for the famous 'Brookmill burger' as it's dangerously addictive.
