The house is a charming and unspoilt Grade ll listed townhouse which was sympathetically and extensively refurbished in 2017/18, having mellow red brick external elevations under a tiled roof. It has well proportioned accommodation, which is light and airy with some excellent head height together with a wealth of original features throughout the house; these include tall sash windows, fireplaces, floor boards, coving, panelling and window seats.

On the ground flooor the reception hall has a sweeping and impressive 18th Century staircase rising to the first floor landing and doors leading to the study, cloakroom, dining room and drawing room with a beautiful broad bow window overlooking the garden. Beyond the hall is a short rear hall with a secondary staircase to the first floor and also down to the extensive and useful cellarage (as well as stairs off the hall). A further door opens to the rejuvinated kitchen with fitted units and gas-fired Aga, with steps to the breakfsat room to one side. Beyond the kitchen is the laundry room with steps down to the garden room, which has four pairs of French windows opening to the garden.

On the first floor is a broad landing with doors to the principal bedroom with en-suite bathroom and dressing room, two further large double bedrooms, bathroom and a small bedroom(currently used as a yoga room). On the second floor are two further double bedrooms off a central landing.
