North Street, Bridgtown, Cannock WS11

Description
The property

Available with no upward chain, this delightful home in the Bridgtown area of Cannock will prove extremely popular to first time buyers and buy to let investors. Parking for the property is on street and, due to the shops located on this particular part of North Street, there are 20-minute bays opposite for guests. Longer parking is available on nearby streets such as East Street, which is visible from the front of the house. From the pavement the house has a short front yard before viewers will access the house via the main front door directly into the lounge.

The lounge is a generous reception room with carpet laid under foot and a chimney breast protruding from the far wall with a lovely gas fire positioned in front. The natural light is brought into the room via a large, double-glazed window to the front and there is plenty of space for the new owners to position a safer suite around an entertainment unit. A door to the rear of the lounge opens to a short hallway where there is a door to the right to access the cellar. This fabulous space is located underneath the lounge and is well decorated to act as a store room or even a home office.

Back onto the ground floor and following the hallway is a large kitchen with space for dining. There is plenty of kitchen unit space with laminated work surfaces mounted on top and spaces between for kitchen appliances such as a gas cooker, washing machine and fridge freezer. The flooring is of wood effect laminate and there is a double-glazed window that peers straight through to the lean-to conservatory. To the front of the room is the staircase to the first floor and to the rear is access to another short hallway from where there is further access to the lean-to Conservatory and ground floor bathroom. There is also a shallow but handy storage cupboard to the right of this hallway.

The family bathroom is a pleasant suite which comprises of a large corner bathtub at the far end of the room with a fitted shower above, a wash hand basin and a toilet. The natural light is brought into the room via an obscured double-glazed window to the left coming through from the conservatory. The lean-to conservatory features a tiled floor, wooden panelling to the walls and double-glazed sliding patio door (with side window) that leads out to the rear garden.

Moving upstairs, the first floor of this home simply comprises of two double bedrooms that match the sizes of the lounge and kitchen below. To the rear is the master bedroom which is a superb double bedroom featuring an en suite WC with wash hand basin. It also features a handy storage cupboard that is positioned above the stairwell. To the front of the first floor is another generous double bedroom that features a continuation of the chimney breast from the lounge below adding that little bit of extra character.

Finishing outside the house comes complete with a charming real rear garden that viewers will love. It begins with a slabbed patio that has plenty of room for the new owners to position an outdoor furniture set before leading down to a lawn covering the majority of the garden and finally a gravel patch at the far end, offering an alternative seating option. To the right boundary is a tall, original brick wall which is a delightful feature, with a shorter version at the far boundary and wooden fencing to the remaining left boundary. The owners of this property have right of way gated access to the left to be able to take their bins out and, being the end property, there is no right of way access for a neighbour to access this garden, making this particular garden more private.
