The garden is Westerly facing so light pours into the extension throughout most of day, and in summer evenings we sit out and catch the last of the sun. The garden has apple blossom in Spring and jasmine, roses and hibiscus as the months get warmer. There are lots of lovely mature trees along the back gardens which adds to the peace and tranquillity. In the flat the three bedrooms have lots of period features and are full of character. We have put in double glazed sash windows, so along with the underfloor heating in the extension, it's really cosy all year round.
The local area is another big plus. There is also a thriving local community, with the local festival Brockley Max each summer.
