House For Sale £750,000
Erskine Road, Walthamstow, London E17

Description
A generously proportioned three double bedroom terraced house on Erskine Road.

Set across three floors, and boasting over 1300 square feet of internal space, this is a home that your family really can grow into. To the front of the ground floor there is a large, dual aspect reception room, which offers plenty of space for when the extended family gathers together. Behind it sits a further reception that serves as a dining room, and then beyond that is the kitchen.

The first floor houses the three bedrooms. To the front is the main bedroom, which stretches across the full width of the property and offers plenty of room for free standing storage. The other two bedrooms are both solid doubles. The family bathroom is also on this floor and has a three piece suite.

The second floor contains a loft room, which is dual aspect.

Outside there is a private garden to the rear, with a small patio area immediately adjacent to the house.

Living Here...

We could tell you about all the wonderful things in and around this fantastic part of E17, from delicious sourdough pizzas at SoDo and comedy nights at The Rose & Crown, to movies at the Empire and Sunday roasts at The Chequers. We could even bang on about how easy the daily commute will be thanks to the proximity of Walthamstow Central station (or indeed Walthamstow Queens Road station). But it’s about more than that, surely? It’s about living somewhere where you can feel part of a vibrant local community, where you want to put down long term roots because you can’t imagine living anywhere else, and where you can easily imagine watching your family expand and grow. That’s what living in this fabulous part of East London is all about, and what makes it such a special place to live.

In The Owners Words...

"This house has been at the centre of our family’s life for over 20 years. People always comment on the feel of our home, it’s spacious and light but also very comfortable and cosy. We love that it is only a 7- 10 minute stroll to the ‘Village’ and 5 minute walk to the tube and British Rail. We have really friendly and kind neighbours who have been here for over 20 years on both sides and the street. We feel part of a really friendly community and it's very peaceful. There are brilliant walks and cycle rides along miles of Lea Valley canal and wetlands seeing wildlife and horses just a 10 mimute walk away. The incredible Epping forest is 15 minutes drive away and the historic William Morris museum and Lloyd's Park 5 mins walk away. The largest street market in Europe is a minute walk and the Sunday farmers market is not to be missed. Walthamstow people are family orientated and lots of young couples too in the local restaurants and evening bars etc. A large loft means there’s loads of very useful extra storage. We will miss this house greatly but moving as my son has moved to South London.
