'We’ve loved living in this bright and airy eco-house. The location combines the best of Gloucester Road life with the calm oasis of a friendly cul-de-sac, and we'll be sorry to leave such a special house behind.
The house is easy to live in and very flexible in its layout. We initially worked from here (creating a massage therapy space downstairs) and have now moved rooms around to make it a fantastic family home.

We love the double-height living space with its handy mezzanine level (great for a home office), and the double doors overlooking the front garden. The kitchen (which we had fitted in 2019) is perfectly placed for entertaining, whilst still being able to be enclosed if needed.

The house is amazingly eco-conscious, which makes it very economical to run. It's well-insulated, south facing and has pv solar on the roof (which provides a feed-in tariff of approx. £1k/year until 2037). The lime render is breathable, and the house is both airy in the summer and snug in winter. There are 2 off-road parking spaces and a large storage area at the rear.

The sunny courtyard garden is the icing on the cake. The pergola provides a lovely shady seating area. There's an abundance of pears and figs, as well as a vine, a climbing rose and a beautiful Japanese maple. In the rear, the greenhouse provides a great space to grow veggies and bikes can be securely stored.

The community on the road is also very special. People are wonderfully helpful and kind and we've had some lovely street gatherings during lockdown. We're fulfilling a lifelong dream of moving to the countryside, and whilst we will be sure to miss all the benefits of this eco-house (and its handy location), we know that the new owners will love making the most of this very special home.'
