The current vendors have provided us with some background and thoughts on there their experience in the property which we feel would be very helpful to any perspective purchaser:

Bought as a couple in 2012 and it was our 2nd house purchase in London. We quickly learned that the area was a special find. Close enough to London bridge, Canary Wharf, Charing Cross but also had Blackheath and Greenwich on the door step.

As a couple the pull of the village with pubs, restaurants and farmers market was always only 20 mins away. As a family Greenwich park was a favourite being only a 25 min walk. The soft play and Sutcliffe centre as well as David Lloyd Gym all a short walking distance was a huge benefit. Shops are also convenient - the garage and shops around the corner (including post office). There is a small Sainsbury's, M&S and most recently B&M and Aldi.

When we purchased the house we were looking for space and that we got! The house has a 120ft Garden and boasts a large cheery tree as well as pear and apple tree along with many mature plants, shrubs and flowers. The patio area was paved in 2016 and quickly became our outdoor dining area over the summer as it captures the sun all day. There is also a cherry blossom tree in the front area and is the key focal point from the master bedroom.

We tried to respect the feel of the house maintaining the front door, internal doors handles and fireplaces. There is a stained glass window on the stairs which brings a huge amount of natural light to the landing. Modern kitchen and bathroom and wood floors throughout. There is a pull down ladder to the attic's and its floored with significant standing room and storage space. There are fireplaces in the living room, dining area, and two larger bedrooms. It is a four bedroom property and we used them as a master, spare, office (for important work from home space) and nursery.

Great neighbours with a mixture of retired and young families and great community spirit. Happy to take deliveries for each other, socialise, each other's security, even putting bins out becomes a shared chore. Great schools in the area. Also small crèche and preschool five doors up the road.
