"We moved here from Brixton in 2017 and have loved our time at Second Avenue. We couldn't have asked for nicer neighbours, or a better location: 2 minutes walk from the station, 5 minutes from the pubs, restaurants and shops on Orford Road (including the amazing Spar, E17, Orford's Fish & Chips and our favourite pub, The Queen's Arms) and 15 minutes from Lloyd Park, which is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon. It's also close to Crate St James's and Blackhorse Road so you're perfectly placed for everything that Walthamstow has to offer. And if you want to explore some green space, the Walthamstow Marshes and Epping Forest are only a quick bus / train ride away. We bought this flat as it had everything we were looking for - Victorian character, a great garden and living room, plus plenty of storage space - and we've not been disappointed. We love the bright and spacious lounge, with its high ceilings, sash windows and wooden floors, the larger than average bathroom, with its patterned tiles and the bedroom, with views out to the garden. While there's lots we love inside, the garden, which we had landscaped in 2018, is our favourite place to be. The deck is an absolute sun trap, and it's so peaceful sitting outside among the tropical palms and flowers.

With the patio area and built-in seating, there's plenty of space for BBQs and garden parties (or just relaxing with a beer and a good book). Plus, as all the plants are evergreen, it requires next to no effort and looks nice all year round. We'll be sad to leave it behind, but we're heading north to start a new chapter, so hoping someone else will be as happy here as we've been."
