" I have lived here for 7 years and felt very lucky to have this vast space to enjoy London life. The roof terrace has been a big winner over the years for BBQ and socialising, or just a quiet outdoor space to read a book and have Sunday brunch. We've also just gone through a whole roof refurb, which has been finished off with a lovely grey slate.
The living room is a large L shaped room, providing space for relaxing to watch some TV and also a dining area which has been great for hosting dinner parties etc. In the last few months, wit me working from home, it has become more of an office - there is also lots of natural light.
As for the location, Tooting Common is just up the road. It has been great for fitness, socialising and is conveniently located between both Tooting Bec (underground) and Streatham station (mainline). It is great to have the option of the Northern line or Thameslink to get into work, plus there is a good number of night buses too. The G1 bus stop is round the corner and gets you down to Tooting Broadway in no time at all. This is where both Tooting and Broadway markets are located and there are loads of great pop up restaurants to enjoy.
The flat itself is energy efficient so the home utilities are very reasonable. We fall into Wandsworth borough for Council Tax, which is the 2nd cheapest in London.
We also have a new boiler; installed in December 2019. The new roof and skylights are also a great added boost to energy saving"
