"We moved to this Goddards Close in 2007, the primary reason was the location as we love walking in the woods. Hawley Woods are a 2 min walk from number 6, the training area consists of many acres, has a yacht club and much to explore on the Lake.

David Wilson are a very reputable house builder, providing us with a lovely family sized home and the build standard is excellent, however over the years we have used this footprint to extent downstairs and convert our loft to a wonderful bedroom.

The area is quiet, the neighbours are friendly and helpful. We are 5 mins from the M3 for travel to most links in the South of England and Farnborough Train Station is simply a 10 minute drive away, this gives us the option to pop into London whenever we wish. Local schools both Junior and Senior, which again was a reason for our moving to Goddards Close.

So all in all, the ideal family home, which has allowed us to enjoy both the quietness of the area and the ease of access to local amenities and national transport links."

'the Area View"

Farnborough is a town in northeast Hampshire, England, part of the borough of Rushmoor and the Farnborough/Aldershot Built-up Area. Farnborough was founded in Saxon times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086.

It’s ideally located close to junctions 4 & 4a of the M3 motorway and is also served by three railway stations, of which Farnborough (Main) railway station is on the South Western Main Line which is ideal for commuters as you can be in London Waterloo with 38 minutes.

The Farnborough Aerodrome is renowned for its long-standing aviation links from the first powered flight in Britain in 1908, to the first car to go supersonic on land in 1997. Its also home to the Farnborough International Airshow which takes place on even numbered years at Farnborough Business Airport, which is a must-see for any aviation Enthusiasts.

For the non Aviation Enthusiasts there is plenty for you to see and do, from taking a leisurely stroll down the Basingstoke canal, or visiting the medieval church of St. Michaels Abbey where you will find the tomb of Napoleon III (one of France's most celebrated military leaders) and his wife.
