After 8 years of living here, we love the community the most. Our neighbours are friends, with one even giving us a section of their allotment to use nearby, which is really lovely for us as a family. We spend a lot of time in Ruskin Park where we almost certainly bump into friends and their kids.
Our children go to the school opposite which is great. We have also found overlooking the school such a positive factor that we were not expecting. It means we are not overlooked by any houses at the front and gives us a depth of view when looking out of the windows, making much of the year, including school holidays and weekends, a peaceful outlook.
Our south facing, back garden is really secluded and perfect for summer BBQ parties, with the back of the house overlooking gardens rather than houses.
Transport is great, we love how well connected we are to the tube, overground and buses. We anticipated parking may be an issue due to the location but have been pleasantly surprised. The two roads either side of the house are quiet and we have never had problems parking and there are also a number of charging points close to the house if you have a hybrid car.
