Description:
This quant and homely apartment was constructed around 1975 and originally formed part of The Shop House, the now neighbouring property. It is situated in an enviable and tranquil position enjoying lovely views towards Loch Linnhe and the Morven Hills.

The apartment is beautifully presented and has been tastefully decorated with a combination of laminate or tiled flooring through-out with the exception of the bedroom. In addition to its convenient location this lovely apartment benefits from double glazing, a thermostatically controlled, Brandt heating system and a relatively private garden.

The current owners have used the apartment for holiday lets and family retreats. The letting aspect has proved to be both popular and lucrative. The guest book is full of praise and thanks, a good indication of the cottages popularity. The majority of the content within the cottage can be made available by separate negotiation and business accounts can be made available after a successful viewing has taken place.

Location/amenities:

The village of Ardgour is situated across the Corran Ferry, a semi-rural location yet only a 20 minute drive from the amenities of Fort William, the peaks of Glencoe and all that the area has to offer. The main village is split between the community above the ferry at North Corran and the traditional crofting village of Clovullin. Besides the unspoilt beauty and natural landscape there is a wealth of activities and sights to enjoy nearby including pony trekking, fishing, kayaking, wildlife and some lovely walks among the woodlands of Ardgour Estate. Some of the nearby amenities include a primary school with the secondary school at nearby Strontian, public house/restaurant and hotel.

The nearest town is Fort William which is known and celebrated as the outdoor capital of the UK, just a 15 minute drive from the Corran Ferry. The town is a popular tourist destination that has a wide variety of tourist attractions including the locks at Corpach Basin on the Caledonian Canal which make ideal walking opportunities on the Great Glen Way, Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis. There is a variety of shops, hotels and restaurants, tourist information centre, museum, library, bus station and railway station with links to Mallaig, Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as an overnight sleeper to London.

Directions: Arden, No 6, Clovullin, Ardgour, PH33 7AB.
