Almost equidistant in the other direction the seals also come ashore on the beaches of Horsey/Winterton.
Outstanding sailing facilities are close by at the famous Norfolk Broads, within easy reach at Wroxham (14 miles), the acknowledged centre of the Broads network. The picturesque Georgian town of Holt is about 12 miles away, while the perennially popular and pretty seaside resort of Sheringham is 12 miles approx.
