Compton Court has been a very happy home for us and we will be sad to leave. Our building has a friendly and close-knit group of residents who care deeply for the building and take an interest in its upkeep and development. The residents in the street are friendly and everyone makes the effort to get to know each other and say hello. Also, being on a no-through road means that it is both a quiet and safe location.

Gipsy Hill is a great area and we have lived here for over almost 6 years. It has a wonderful community feel and has lots of things to interest singles, couples and families. The flat is only a 5 minute walk to Gipsy Hill Station which has both excellent train and bus links both into London but also to Gatwick and Brighton.

There are some great local pubs and eateries as well as two local breweries nearby along with fabulous coffee from the Brown and Green station Cafe. There are also a number of shops and amenities in Crystal Palace which is a 10-minute walk away.

There are lots of parks locally and within walking distance. The most notable is Crystal Palace Park with its famous dinosaurs! A short walk away is Long Meadow which is a peaceful open space and where the Friends of Gipsy Hill association organises events each year, in addition to Norwood Park which is a great space with wonderful views over London.
