In all this provides journeys to Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Derby, Burton-on-Trent and all within an hour. Not far from Walsall Road is the Bowling Green Island which has links to the A51 for Stafford.

Within a decent walk of this home, around 20-25 minutes is Lichfield City train station which is part of the Cross City Line for Birmingham New Street, Sutton Coldfield, Redditch and Birmingham University.
