A word from the owners...."We've lived in Hackney for over 10 years and Clapton for over 6 of them. This property is by far our favourite place we have ever lived. Having the River Lea, Springfield Park, Springfield Marina and Walthamstow Marshes on our doorstep has been an oasis of peace and tranquility - we are surrounded by nature and often forget we are in a bustling area of London. Clapton itself is a great mix of cafes, independent stores and restaurants as well families and established communities. There are many different communities and cultures that sit alongside each other and get along - Clapton Commons community group is an example of this and they have more plans for great services for the local area. There are great transport links into central London via Clapton Station, and Manor House and Finsbury Park are a short bus ride away. We often get the Overground up to Walthamstow or Epping Forest in the other direction. We enjoy popping to the Hope and Anchor for a quick pint after work, or walking along the River to Chatsworth Road to meet up with friends. Heron Court itself is full of lovely, supportive neighbours and the flats have extremely good insulation - we rarely hear anyone else in the building and can sit with the balcony doors open for most of the year round. All in all we'll be sad to leave the property but are upsizing."
