Vendor's Comments

"This area is very friendly, with a mix of young and older families. It’s been an amazing area from which to explore Bristol with North street (and its independent shops / markets) and the Harbour-side both short walks away. I also used to walk to work (in Clifton) most of the year – this takes about 45 minutes (there are good bus links to the centre for those less inclined to walk and tackle Park street!). The garden is an absolute haven – and a real sun trap! With practically no gardening experience, i’ve quickly learnt that I have magic soil which makes pretty much everything grow very well! The Hydrangeas are spectacular in the summer; I will miss them! Parking is very rarely an issue here – though the area is unrestricted, I have, barring maybe 5 occasions, always been able to find somewhere to park within about 30 metres of my house.

My neighbours on both sides are lovely, quiet and very friendly. Number 19, in particular, have been very supportive and welcoming of me and will be missed – Cath knows everyone in the area having lived here for a long time. They brought me soup on the day I moved in and have continued to be amazing neighbours ever since.

The property and road are quite quiet – something that is quite rare in the city centre! I’ve also always felt safe. I love the street art that is very prevalent in the area – Upfest is one of my favourite festivals in Bristol.

In short, this was a fantastic first home. I will miss it greatly, but the time has come to embrace the countryside!"<br /><br />
