Nancledra or Nancledrea is a village in west Cornwall, three miles (5 km) south of St Ives and four miles (6.5 km) north-northeast of Penzance. Nancledra is a small village under Towednack civil parish.
The name of the village probably means valley of Clodri or valley of Cludri.4
Robert Morton Nance, one of the chief revivers of the Cornish Language lived in Nancledra.
Nancledra now has a village shop at the community hall for 2/3 days a week, at the moment, and the village has it local new bulletin called the Cledra News.'
A pub, The Engine Inn, is situated at Cripplesease just outside the village which is very popular with visitors and locals as it has a west facing beer garden. Perfect to watch the stunning summer sunsets on a clear evening.

St Ives is famous for its historic harbour, art, artists working studios, the beautiful beaches, surfing and Tate St Ives. There are award winning restaurants and eclectic shops. In the other direction there is St Michael's Mount in Marazion which is stunning.

Penzance is famous for its pirates, well the singing variety anyway. It is a historic port on the south facing shores of Mount's Bay and has one of the mildest climates in the United Kingdom.
